Sing with Ukraine is a grassroots effort started after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on Feb 24th, 2022. What began as a gathering of friends processing grief through song, has now become a mission to popularize endangered Ukrainian polyphonic singing songs, wake up the wider community from indifference, and raise vital funds to support numerous Ukrainian humanitarian causes.

The Kosa Community Choir is Toronto's newest chamber folk choir dedicated to studying & performing the traditional polyphonic songs of Ukraine. The group grew out of Folk Camp's (formerly Kosa Kolektiv's) passion for traditional singing based in villages and ancient rites and rituals. For over 10 years the Folk Camp ran singing workshops and last October, they finally formalized their group singing sessions into a choir!
